And here we are, three decades later with the same vision. With a staff consisting of designers and horticultural experts we are here to help you find the best plants for your home and outdoors.

"Great staff!

  1. Friendly and knowledgeable. They have a good variety of indoor and outdoor plants". Love seeing a local
  2. spot that is thriving! I will shop here regularly.

"Hidden treasure"

Loved this place! A lot of variety packed into a small space. If you're willing to make the trip you'll find it full of hidden treasure. Very nice and knowledgeable staff, good selection of indoor plants. Their pots were a bit too expensive for my taste but their plants are good and healthy- I bought a succulent and a few ferns and they're doing  really well. Nice spot!

"It's like a curated gallery of plants."

"This nursery made all my plant dreams come true!   All employees were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I purchased several plants, and they are all doing well. Each plant they carry is in perfect condition, no torn leaves or wilted blooms.  It's like a curated gallery of plants".

"Staff was friendly and attentive."

"We were impressed by how healthy all of their plants are and found most reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be going back!"

"My favorite place to buy plants in Oakland!"

"I LOVE this nursery. They have the best, healthiest plants and are super knowledgeable and friendly. Sometimes they can be a little on the pricier side but it's because they are selling quality goods and it shows. Whenever I get budget plants (cough, cough home depot) I can always spot the difference. My plants from Broadway Terrace thrive and grow and I never regret going there. Everyone who I've met working there has been great as well. It's my favorite place to buy plants in Oakland!"

"The selection and service were the tops"

"We purchased a couple of succulent arrangements yesterday. They custom-made one, even though it was 30 minutes to closing, cheerfully. It seemed that all the employees were cheerful. They were even cheerful when, a second before they rang up the sale, I found a Chinook Book coupon on my phone. So we got a 20% discount, and I was cheerful. The selection and service were the tops. Even plenty of parking!"

"Everything is spectacular."

"My favorite nursery!  I always enjoy coming here.  They have unique plants and flowers that you just don't see everywhere.
It's all about the layout!  That's where they excel!  Creativity is their middle name!  I love the way they merchandise their plants.  Mixing sizes with different shapes and colors displayed on round stands and and the end gap of every aisle. I want to buy them all!
Today I purchased a beautiful yellow begonia!  It really is breathtaking and only $30.00. I purchased so many plants and gifts over the past year.  I love how they add moss to a planter to give it that special touch and spray the leaves with plant shine!  You can never go wrong shopping here.  Everything is spectacular."
